shoes and a note

So, my new shoes has arrived, which I love. In the box there was a small handwritten note from Anja Marie. What a cutie. We went to middleschool togheter, and her boyfriend is running the webshop I bought the shoes from, so she recognized my name on the order and put in a small note.

On another note, the blog is starting to take form. Still running some tests on layouts, themes and plugins. Still looking for a plugin who automaticly puts a small white frame around my pictures, and my picture-captions like wordpress.com does. Anyone? So, here are awesome pics of my awesome shoes.

Wohaa, So it looks like things are working out with OTC. Hotell is booked for that weekend and I just got a mail from the artist that I want to tattoo me. The choice landed on a guy named Dalmiro and he is currently tattooing for South of Heaven. Check out his portfolio here. I will meet with him on Saturday 11 am. Now all I gotta make sure is that I have 10.000NOK to pay him ;P Maybe getting some tattooes on my hands too. This is awesome! (But I guess I can’t get to carried away. Everytime I’m looking forward to something it gets messed up).

Anyone else besides me who is going to Oslo Tattoo Convention (OTC) ? It will be held in Oslo from the 1st – 3rd of May. I was supposed to go last year, but it all kinda failed since I drove from Bergen – Porsgrunn the same weekend. So this year I’m SO going. Gonna try to book an appointment so I can get my beloved japanese halfsleeve. Would be awesome <3 Check out this post to read about my bodymod plans.

It’s Sunday and I’m yawning like a mad person. I got a cold, a stuffed nose and my period. What a great combination. I have the cravings for sweets but I don’t know what. I also want a new jacket, since my old one is 7 years old. I found this great one at G-sport. Take a look at it a bit further down.

It’s also the international Women’s day today, happy celebrations to all women out there. You go girls.. and so on.

I’m heading back to Porsgrunn on Tuesday.. I think I’m arriving just late enough to miss the postoffice ;< So I gotta wait one extra day to pick up my shoes, oh well. Those who wait for something good, does not wait in vain

As you might see I’m trying to make a new header, again. I get easily bored so I need to update it somewhat often. So I get these great ideas, which don’t transfer good onto screen. So if anyone wants to try making me one I’d really appreciate it. The dimensions are 760 x 190 px. The only elements I really want in it is the text “gulemeg.wordpress.com”, a simple lightweight design, good colour combinations (preferable same colours as the text and theme on the blog). And if you are mad skilled at vectorart, I’d love it. I love vector <3

So, this request is probably gonna fail, since my blog isn’t very known and I’m very picky when it comes to design. But all contributions are more than welcome.

retarded doctors pisses me off!

Oh god I’m so mad right now. Where do I even start!? GAH

Ok, so to take things somewhat back in time. As some of you might know (or have read here) my mom passed away one month ago. She died of illness. After the tragedy my dad decided to quit drinking permanently, since he has been drinking for about 20 years. He wont accept any help, but he will continue to keep the urge down with pills. He quit on the spot, and has not been drinking alcohol for 1 month now. Both me and my sister are so proud of him. My strong dad.

But then, now comes the pissed off-part. My dads doctor prescribes him his pills of course. These pills are very addictive, but rather my dad being addicted to these pills and staying sober, than being off the pills and drunk 24/7. Anyways. He calls on my cellphone this evening at 1800, sounding very stressed out. He tells us that his doctor all of a sudden has stopped prescribing him pills. He decided this on his own, on a friday evening. What the fuck is this? My dad is dependent on these pills to keep sober, he has not touched alcohol for 1 month and is starting to get better.. and then his doctor does this?! Is he trying to sabotage my dad? The easiest my dad could do was take a taxi down town and get into a pub and start drinking again. But he didn’t. He was strong, called me and my sister and asked for help. We called doctors/emergency rooms/nurses like mad people to get them to prescribe him some pills. They were very helpfull and couldn’t understand why his doctor did this. So they got someone to drop by and give him pills that will last over the weekend. I don’t know what I would do if they would refuse to help.

Of course, it “ended” well. But still, this was nervewrecking for me, my sister and the most for my dad. It kills us when our dad calls us, crying on the phone because he is so stressed out and needs help. We should not be going through this.
